Does Your Child Have a Leaky Gut?

DOES MY CHILD HAVE A LEAKY GUT?⁣

Unfortunately there is no one specific test for leaky gut. It can show up in many ways  in a child.⁣

When food particles pass through a leaky gut, the immune system is triggered and this can lead to inflammation. The tissues most often affected are in the gut, lungs, ears, nose, and skin.⁣

Inflammatory symptoms associated with leaky gut may include eczema, rashes, mucous congestion, asthma, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain/colic and behaviour challenges ⁣

And because a damaged gut is unable to adequately break down food, further irritation by food particles happens, and the cycle of leaky gut continues, creating a vicious cycle.⁣

Don’t despair...there are options to helping to heal a leaky gut that we’ll take more about. ⁣
